Valor Breeches
I had looked forward to this day with much anticipation. From what I had heard, the linkshell’s main Paladin wouldn’t be able to come to Dynamis, so I hoped that there was just a slight chance that I would get another piece of relic armor.
Relic pieces are quite rare in the northlands, and both the White Mage and Paladin pieces are not a sight you see very often. So imagine my surprise when this little purrrdy item dropped about an hour after we entered:
I knew that I had lotting priority since two of our Paladins hadn’t come today, so I held my breath while waiting for the leaders to call out the one allowed to lot. And surely, the leaders asked me to make the lot.
Everyone in the linkshell gathered around me and congratulated me on my new piece, before we hurried further down toward what’s normally the entrance to Fei’Yin. We had farmed some hydras, but no drops unfortunatly from them. I cheered on one of my Red Mage friends, telling her she’d get her piece. We got a total of 3 pieces: Paladin, Ranger and Beastmaster.
And now I just need to work hard on getting the three last pieces: The Coronet, the Surcoat and the Gauntlets. I don’t have much use for the Gauntlets though, and the Coronet is situational since I have my Koenig Schaller. But a complete set would be really nice.
If Baldivus did indeed leave the linkshell then I’m first in line for the Surcoat. But knowing my luck there will be new Paladins who will get it first before I get it.
