The Furball

The past few days have been really crazy. After an incident on my linkshell the other day, I’ve been kind of depressed. I’ve been trying to get my three promyvion slivers so I could prepare for Apolalypse Nigh, but I’ve had a rough time finding groups and help to get to the top of each promyvion area.

I few helpful people let me tag along with them to Mea and Holla, but for Dem I had to get the party started myself. I was getting more and more desperate as the sun was setting. I had originally planned to get 6 other people, but ended up having to go do the Promyvion – Dem mission myself, even though I was almost out of time. The party didn’t seem very effective either. Two White Mages, a Ninja, a Summoner, a Monk and a Warrior. Luckily the other White Mage changed to Black Mage for the run.

I was so certain we wouldn’t make it in time, especially since the Monk didn’t want to take out the stray monsters before the Memory Receptacle, so we were constantly hurting for MP.

Luckily, we made it to the top floor and I got my last sliver, the Promyvion – Dem sliver. With this in hand we ran to the spire and prepared for the fight. I pushed them to hurry up, but they wanted to take their sweet time. Fortunately we made it in time though, and the notorious monster inside wasn’t as bad as I had expected. I barely made it back to Jeuno in time, with only five minutes left to go.

Talk about luck.

Now all I need is for my linkshell to do the Apoc. Nigh fight. Just the thought of getting a Ethereal Earring excites me. My Paladin life is going to get this much easier with the earring equipped.
