Old School
I haven’t been invited too many parties lately, mostly because I’m not able to stand around waiting for several hours for someone to come around. And Besieged isn’t really helping either. I was therefor really happy when I was asked to tank for a party in King Ranperre’s Tomb for a Japanese party.
The leader and it’s members was really kind, and did not mind me only speaking English. We made our way down to the tunnel and looked for a suitable spot to set up our camp. At first we started out at the good old entrance to the Strange Apertures, but I convinced them it’d be better to keep moving around. We did, and for awhile it went really well, even with me as both tank and puller. The monsters wasn’t awfully hard, although they could be a little annoying at times.
Our party consisted of a meleeing White Mage, a Red and Blue Mage, a Monk and a Puppetmaster. The old school style I guess, with no obvious burning like most parties today. And finally someone picking an original camp instead of those pesky camps in Aht Urghan.
We had a great time, even though we didn’t get the best of experience. We partied for about two and a half hours before we disbanded, and they even taught me how to hug someone in Japanese.
