Beastmaster Progress
After having spent a lot of time deep inside the Boyahda Tree, I’ve come to really like the area. The tree has been one of my favorite places ever since I visited it the first time, and I still have fond memories of the adventures I’ve had there. I guess that’s also why it saddens me that most people today don’t get to experience the nice atmosphere inside.
The “Boyahda Tree” is the largest of the many trees found in Zi’tah, and has always been very popular among the Beastmasters, trying desperately to make a living in there. The tree has attracted Mandragoras from all over Vana’diel for nesting and food, and several mandragora species can be seen inside.
The tree is also home to a variety of other species, including crabs, spiders and even some goobbues. The water is clear and refreshing, and you can taste that it has been left untouched by the city pollution. The water is among the best in all of Vana’diel, and I often find myself returning to the tree to get a sip of it.
As a Beastmaster I have found myself at the grace of the Boyahda Tree. The spiders and funguars there can be quite deadly if not treated with respect, but luckily they’ve treated me quite well so far. I’ve spent a few hours trying to get some more experience as a Beastmaster, and I’m happy that I picked this place. The scenery is really nice, with flowers everywhere, the enjoyable fresh water, and the soothing atmosphere.
As an added bonus I also get to camp the coffers there, which brings me a little bit of money. I’ve decided it’s no longer worth using a Reraise earring because of the costs associated with using them, so I guess that’ll save me a bit of money in the long run.
After spending some time in the tree, I finally reached Beastmaster 61. I haven’t decided whether I’m taking the job to 71 or to 75 yet. Right now I only want the Bison Jacket set, and I’m not sure how much I really need the level 75. I should still be able to get things done. Since me and Renomus don’t get to go on too many escort runs anymore, I should try to be able to get them done myself, although he and others are more than welcome to join me of course.
